Chesterfield HO Race Club (CHORC) is the oldest HO slotcar club in the country, based just south of Chesterfield in the village of Stretton.
The club was founded in January 1991 and races 1/64th scale Tomy SG+, SRT, Tyco and Lifelike Slotcars on various 4 lane tracks from 70'-170'. F1 and Closed wheel classes.
(Sports, GT, Nascar, etc.) Like Scalextric but smaller.
We have 17 club nights a year that comprise an Annual Championships for Adults, Juniors, Teams and Sprints ending with a
'Christmas Bash' and buffet in December, to present Trophies, let our
hair down a bit and end the season with a bang, with our Demolition
Derby 500 Team races.
