I did say I'd formalise the SQUIRM racing this
year, so
here are the results to date. Points are the same as we use at the
club.
There are four championships
- Open
wheel, Closed wheel, Minute Mega-G Challenge and Team.
1 - 2) The open and closed wheel will take the best 3
of 4
results.
3) The Mega-G is all three qualifying rounds,
leading
to the finals in October. With the numbers entered so far, we should
be able to run 4 x 3 minute finals for this without problems timewise.
This
replaces the Sprints and is supposed to be just for fun - but I noticed
most
people are taking it very seriously already :-)
4) The Team Championship uses points from all 8
rounds (4 x
a.m., 4 x p.m)
Hope to see lots of you on Saturday - again as early
as
possible please. Doors open officially at 9am, racing proper to start
asap but
no later than 10am.
